Iowa Rush Announces New Referee Assignor
Iowa Rush is excited to announced the addition of a new Referee Assignor for Recreation, Academy, and Select Program games, including Iowa Premier Soccer League (IPSL), Midwest Regional League, Iowa Soccer Association Academy League, and in-house Recreation program games. Charlie Ramsay, a long-time fixture in the soccer referee community, has assigned for Los Padres Soccer Referees Association, which covered San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara County. In the fall of 1998, Charlie moved to Iowa and immediately began assigning games for the Iowa State Cup held in Muscatine, Iowa at the time. In 2003, Charlie took over the Assignor duties for IPSL, covering Ankeny, Ames, Nevada, Altoona, Muscatine, and Davenport. Elsewhere, Charlie does assign local games for Ames, Nevada, Heart of Iowa, Boone, Ballard, Collins-Maxwell, Muscatine, and now Iowa Rush. A grade 6 referee himself, Charlie also assigns for the Iowa State Cup and Kohl’s Cup. Charlie currently resides in Mason City and he will double as our referee assignor for our outdoor tournament series.
Thanks for your continued support.
