Rush Festival

What is the Rush Festival:

The Rush Fest is an annual event that brings together the U12 boys’ and girls’ teams from Rush clubs across the country. Teams compete against one another in a friendly format while also joining up to participate in training sessions on and off the field. Top coaches from within the Rush family- previous coaches have included former U20 Women’s National Team Coach- Tim Schulz, and technical Directors from Texas Rush, Alaska Rush and Virginia Rush help comprise the staff that work with the players and team coaches throughout the event. Each team will have two or more dedicated staff coaches to learn from over the course of the Festival, plus numerous other classroom opportunities to learn about leadership, sports psychology and the game.

The Rush Festival also allows for coaches to identify the top players from within Rush Soccer. These players are then eligible to compete on 'Rush Select' teams at tournaments across the country. Previous Iowa Rush players that have competed with Rush National Team’s over President’s Day include: Abby Rocha, Emily Feltes, Haley Kerns, Rachel McCloskey, Mady Gutknecht, Aubree Larson,  Chloe Kooker, Emily Fontana, Kenan Smaljovic and Fred Frimpong.

Iowa Rush Participation:

Iowa Rush Select Teams need your help to attend this year’s National Rush Festival!! We are working to make a push to have as many representatives from each age group (U12 boys and girls) to attend the festival and to get TEAMs to attend whenever possible. A big part of this preparation is to provide some fundraising opportunities for kids to help off-set their cost for the trip. The fundraisers below are being run by some of the teams and players working towards the trip this summer. Please consider purchasing some of the products below to not only show support of the Iowa Rush Soccer Club, but also help those players get closer to a great experience.
