Paul is currently the Executive Director for the Iowa Rush and has been serving in this role since Fall 2012. Paul has worked for the Rush since Spring of 2009 when he began as the Director of Coaching for the Iowa Rush select program. Prior to his arrival at the Rush, he worked within the ODP, Club, High School and Collegiate levels for over a decade. He co-founded and served as the Associate Director of Coaching for the Toledo Football Academy in Ohio, before that he served as the Director of Player Development for the Greater Toledo Futbol Club. Within the High School level he helped the Revere Boy’s Soccer team reach the Ohio Athletic Association’s Final Four and Elite Eight two years in a row. On the college side, Paul assisted at Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo Women’s Soccer Programs. During his 4 years coaching Division I women’s soccer, he helped the teams win 4 consecutive Conference Championships while earning 4 straight NCAA Tournament bids. Paul has been a head coach of both boys and girls Olympic Development State teams in Ohio, while also serving as an ODP Staff coach and age group assistant coach at the Midwest Regional Level. Paul has been a US Soccer Federation national licensing course instructor for almost ten years, helping educate coaches in how to teach the game and evaluating them for license accredidation. Paul holds his USSF “A”, US National Youth as well as USSF Goalkeeping and NSCAA Goalkeeper Licenses. Paul currently resides in Des Moines with his wife (Candice) and 3-year-old son Berkley.
