Bio:

Nuno began coaching for the Iowa Rush in 2011 after serving as the Assistant DOC at Ames Soccer Club for 8 years. Nuno was born and raised in Portugal where he played for Clube de Futebol os Bucelenses and Atletico Clube do Tojal semi-professional clubs in the Portuguese National Third Division and Lisbon District First Division. Nuno holds a USSF "A" License, a NSCAA National Diploma and a NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma. Nuno also coaches on the Iowa ODP staff and Region 2 ODP staff. Nuno lives in Ames where his wife Rachel is a professor at Iowa State University. They have a 6-year-old son, Lucas.
