Rush North Academy Overview

Iowa Rush North Academy for 8-10 year-old Boys & Girls

The Iowa Rush North Academy program acts as a pre-cursor to the Iowa Rush North Select program. The Academy program tethers the recreational program to the select program by providing an additional step with weekly training by professional staff as well as competing in the Eastern Iowa Youth Soccer league. Iowa Rush North offers the Academy option with the intent of providing players with the opportunity to play with and against players of similar ability/commitment where they will experience the most enjoyment and success.

The Academy program is open to any player (boys & girls born in 2015-2016 for the Fall 2024 & Spring 2025 seasons) who have a desire to further develop their soccer skills and receive professional training. Special requests for players playing up must be approved by the Academy Director James Price.

2024 Fall Training Schedule

Registration is open to any player born in 2015-2016 for each season (fall and spring seasons).

Days: Monday and Thursdays
Time: 6:30-7:30pm
Location: Waverly Soccer Complex

Cost: $210/season
Payment options: You can pay in full or opt into a 3 month payment plan.

Our spring Academy session will run from the week of August 5, 2024 through the week of October 28, 2024.

What to Expect

Games – 6-8 League games will be played within the Eastern Iowa Youth Soccer League. At least 50% playing time, rotating positions, and individual development will be the emphasis at the academy level.

Festivals – In addition to league games, an additional option of playing in a festival setting may be offered depending on interest.
