Recreational 9U-19U

The Recreational soccer program is for any 9-19 year old boy or girl of any ability, interested in playing soccer in a fun and stimulating atmosphere. The players are supported by both volunteer coaches and the professional coaching staff throughout each fall and spring season, to enhance the overall soccer experience and knowledge acquired by each player. The player curriculum, enforced and followed by the professional coaching staff, is supplied and supported from Rush National.

Fall 2021 9U-19U Rec Information

Registration is now open for the Fall 2021 Soccer Season!

Practices: These will be determined at a later date. Your volunteer coach will be in touch with you on more details and specific dates.
Beginning Date: August 23rd

Games: The rec program is a part of the ISL (Iowa State League). Once that schedule is released, it will be shared with coaches to share with their teams.
Beginning Date: TBD

Uniforms: If you already have a uniform that you have used in the past, you can use that again for this season. However, the only thing that will NEED to be purchased by ALL players are BLUE socks. You can order those socks from Capelli, or a store in the area.

Spring 2021 Refund Policy
If Iowa Soccer cancels the Spring 2021 season due to COVID, Iowa Rush will fully refund the price of registration minus the credit card fees.

5U-8U Program
- All games for 5U-8U are run "in house." There is no extra travel for this age group. Games will be played on Saturdays.
- Practices will be begin the week of April 5th

Winter 2020-21

Indoor Winter League (PCL): For age groups 7U-19U
The Premier Challenge League is a great opportunity to keep your players involved in soccer over the winter season!
It is a winter indoor futsal league that is played 4v4 on a basketball court. It utilizes a weighted ball with less bounce, requiring players to use their skills to propel it.

7U-8U Winter Training: 2014-2013 birth years
New this winter is our 7U-8U winter training. This is a great program to keep your 7U-8U player involved in soccer over the winter. Players will work on fundamental technical skills to help build their foundation for the future. Below are the details for this program:

Dates: Sunday Evenings, February 7, 14, 21, 28 (updated)
Time: 5:00-6:00pm (updated)
Where: Kingdom Hoops (6095 NE Industry Dr, Des Moines, IA 50313)
