Des Moines SUMMER 5v5 Soccer LEAGUE

About

The 5v5 Summer League will be played on Wednesday nights starting June 18.  Each game consists of 2 12-minute halves. Teams will have a minimum of 12 games.

Format

Teams: Minimum of 7 players, Maximum of 10 players

Game Play: 4 Field Players + Keeper

Divisions: Rec, Academy, Select & Adult

• 13U/14U Boys & Girls
• HS Boys & Girls
• Adult Division

Game Nights: Wednesdays, Multiple matches per night

• July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
• August 6

Times: 6:30 PM to 10:45 PM

• 7U to 15U played between 6:30 to 9:30
• 16U to Adult played between 7:00 to 10:45

Youth & Adult Recreation Division

Early Registration Fee - $300 per team (deadline May 25th)

Registration Fee - $350 per team (registration ends June 13th)

Adult Competitive Division - Cash Prizes for 1st ($1k), 2nd (TBD), 3rd (TBD) place

Early Registration Fee - $375 per team (deadline May 25th)

Registration Fee - $425 per team (registration ends June 13th)

*Teams registered in the summer league will receive $50 off team registration for each of the 2 summer 5v5 tournaments.

CREATING BALANCED DIVISIONS - JUNE 18TH

The first scheduled night of league play will be used to create divisions and a schedule for the remaining summer league. *On June 18th teams will play 4 to 6 12 minutes matches vs full 24 minute matches.  Scores will be recorded and teams will then be placed in divisions for the league based on their level of play. 

Times:

6:30 PM to 10:45 PM

7U to 15U played between 6:30 to 9:30

16U to Adult played between 7:00 to 10:45

IMPORTANT DATES:
Registration will remain open until midnight Friday, June 13th. 
We will post a Welcome Note on the Monday, June 16th.
A schedule for the first night of play will be posted and sent on Monday, June 16th.
The full summer league schedule will be released on or before Sunday, June 22nd.
