Winter 3v3 League

About

3v3 Winter League at Sportsplex Norwalk!  3v3 Soccer is a great way for players to get a lot of touches and put them in situations that will help our players improve their speed of play. 3v3 soccer is an excellent way to learn about spacing, movement, angles, distance, timing, passing combinations, finishing in a relatively small space!

3v3 League is open to recreational, Academy, and Select players from any soccer club or organization.



Format

3 Field players. No Goalkeepers. Small PUGG goals.

A minimum of 8 games per 3v3 team. # of games will depend on total number of teams formed.

Team Formation / Rosters

Rosters: 5 or 6 players per team

Apex will help balance rosters to ensure good matchups

Coaches: Parents may be asked to coach these teams. Apex strongly encourages very limited coaching and letting the players make their own decisions in this fast-paced environment.

Saturdays - December through February

Games will begin at 8:00am at Sportsplex Norwalk indoor turf and go to early-mid-afternoon based on the final # of teams.

We will do our best to work around scheduling requests for players/teams participating in winter tournaments/leagues.

Groups may be separated into single age years depending on the number of registrations.

• 11U-12U
• 13U-14U/15U (8th grade and younger)
• HS age group

Additional Information

No additional jerseys will be required for this league. Apex will provide colored training vests. Apex players are encouraged to wear their gray Puma training jerseys or their gray Puma PDP jerseys. Players outside of Apex are encouraged to wear a gray shirt.
